How to use it

  1. Open this page on the computer connected to your projector and tap Start.
  2. Tap Fullscreen on the timer so the countdown fills the screen.
  3. When the cue sounds, groups move to the next station during the 1-minute rotation.
  4. Rename the stations (for example "Reading corner" or "Math games") in the routine editor so they show on screen.

More classroom routines

Explore has other ready-made classroom timers: Think-Pair-Share (2, 3 and 5 minutes), a 4½-minute Brain Break, and Quiet Reading Time with a 2-minute warning.

Making transitions smooth

Countdown beeps give a 3-2-1 before every change, so students know a rotation is coming. If you want a quieter room, turn them off in Settings and rely on the cue alone.

Questions

Can I change the number of stations?

Yes. Start it once, then add or remove stations, or change their length, in the routine editor.

Does it need an account?

No. Teachers can sign in with Google to save routines across devices and share them with colleagues, but it is optional.

Will it keep running if I switch to another tab?

It keeps accurate time, but browsers can delay sounds in hidden tabs, so keep the timer visible during class.
