How to use it

  1. Tap Start. A cue starts round one, and 3-2-1 beeps warn you before every change.
  2. Work the round until the cue, rest for one minute, go again.
  3. Pick the Bell or Deep Gong sound on the home page for a classic ring feel.
  4. Need 2-minute rounds or 30-second rest? Edit the routine once it is saved.

Standard round lengths

Professional boxing uses 3-minute rounds with 1 minute of rest. Amateur bouts and many classes use 2 or 3-minute rounds. For bag work and conditioning, 3 on and 1 off is a good default.

Training with rounds

Give each round a focus (jab, combinations, defense, footwork) and rename the rounds in the editor so the focus appears on screen when the round starts.

Is there a warning before the round ends?

Yes. Countdown beeps give a 3-2-1 before every change. They are on by default and can be turned off in Settings.
